Role: Monitoring Tools Lead

Required Technical Skill Set:CA Technologies

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

• Good Knowledge in CA Technologies different modules like DOI, UIM, APM, NFA, Spectrum, PM and Netops.
• Able to install, administer, upgrade, and optimize the systems monitoring and alerting system and related components.
• Good Knowledge in implement and configuration of Broadcom CA and dashboard creation
• Good Knowledge in Application and Infra Monitoring and Agile way of working.
• Install, configure and administer/support CA Tool different modules components to include Server and Application Monitoring.
• Good Knowledge in Cloud and Hybrid Infra and Application Monitoring.
• Able to integrate Monitoring tools with ITSM tools as well as other BI tools
• Able to setup and manage Robots, hubs and tunnels infrastructure.
• Stay up to date on Broadcom CA new product features.
• Able to create custom probes for Monitoring Administration.
• Able to create report and to configure data collections and alarm thresholds.
• Knowledge in managing different monitoring configurations for Managed Service Provider.
• Able to create effective monitoring policies for large and dynamic environments in CA Tool.
• Able to assist with the setup and maintenance of the physical and cloud infrastructure.
• Able to distinguish between important Alarms and noise.
• Accept, respond to, and resolve tickets that are submitted by customer.

• Knowledge in ServiceNow Event Management and ServiceNow Tool
• Process automation (Web Front-end Applications, HTML, PHP, JavaScript, HTA, VBScript, SQL, ServiceNow Orchestration)
• Strong client facing and management skills.
• Knowledge in Unix and Linux OS

Role descriptions / Expectations from the Role

• Monitoring Tools Lead having Strong ability to monitor diagnose IT infrastructure, application services, server, network alerts, events or issues.
• Responsible for overall project deliverables- scoping, Project plan, requirement document, proposals and other requisite documents.
• Experience configures monitors using SNMP, SSH and other technologies
• Experience configuring custom reports upon request from Custom reports. Knowledge of database requirements and configuration of CA Tool and ELK Tool.

• Ability to plan and execute system and software installations upgrade and changes across the organization.
• Must be able to help on capacity planning by producing meaning full reports.
• Perform configuration, tuning and troubleshooting CA DOI, UIM, APM Tools and ELK Tool etc and related network management system tools.
• Ability to write administration and user based operating procedures. Ability to prioritize competing priorities.
• Self-Starter with ability to work on individual tasks, as well as team-oriented tasks.
• Experience monitoring a variety of end devices to include routers, switches, firewalls, Windows Server, Unix Servers, Linux Server and Applications.
• Will also manage project management activities for transformation projects. Validate and analyzes the challenges in the underlying transformation projects to be carried out by the delivery organization.
• Experience in making effective presentations, review reports, data analysis reports etc to senior management

• Responsible for 24x&7 Infra, Cloud and Application Monitoring, Support and Tools Maintenance.
