Role: Monitoring Tools Admin (Solarwinds)

Responsibility Expectations from the role

Install, configure, and maintain SolarWinds, Opsview, and Zabbix monitoring tools.
Create and manage dashboards, alerts, and reports for infrastructure and applications.
Integrate monitoring tools with ITSM platforms for automated incident creation.
Fine-tune thresholds and alerting rules to reduce noise and false positives.
Implement escalation policies and notification workflows.
Monitor servers, network devices, storage, and applications for performance and availability.
Perform trend analysis and capacity planning using monitoring data.
Maintain documentation for monitoring configurations and processes.
