Molding Specialist – Silicone, Rubber & Resin

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Molding and Casting Specialist with hands-on experience in polyresin casting using silicone molds. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, maintaining, and executing mold-making and casting processes to produce high-quality decorative and miniature items. This role requires precision, consistency, and the ability to troubleshoot production issues effectively. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain silicone molds for casting polyresin products. Mix and pour polyresin material with accuracy, ensuring consistency in quality. Handle mold release agents, demolding processes, and post-casting finishing. Identify and correct casting defects (e.g., air bubbles, shrinkage, etc.). Maintain cleanliness and organization in the molding and casting area. Work closely with the design and production teams to improve product quality and production efficiency. Perform quality control checks and ensure standards are consistently met. Repair or replace damaged molds as needed. Requirements: Proven experience with polyresin and silicone molding/casting (minimum 3 years preferred). Strong understanding of mold-making, casting materials, and best practices. Ability to handle detailed and delicate parts. Familiarity with safety and handling procedures related to resins and chemicals. Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity. Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with miniature or decorative item casting. Knowledge of multi-part and complex mold-making. Creative problem-solving skills related to production challenges.
