As a developer at our company, you will be an integral part of the software engineering team responsible for developing the OPTIMICA Compiler Toolkit. Your role will involve collaborating closely with various teams within Modelon to offer support to customers and expert users of the tool. Additionally, you will work within a diverse team encompassing a wide range of expertise essential for constructing a proficient modeling and simulation/optimization platform. We are seeking an experienced software developer who is driven to make a significant contribution to the success of the compiler within the rapidly expanding market of advanced industrial users. The ideal candidate should possess 1-5 years of experience in developing high-performance software, with specific expertise in compiler development. Proficiency in Java or C++, along with the ability to create efficient and reusable code that is easily comprehensible by others, is essential. Furthermore, strong communication skills, particularly in English, are a crucial requirement for this role. A proven track record of producing top-notch production software is highly desirable. In addition to the aforementioned qualifications, familiarity with the LLVM Compiler Infrastructure Project, JastAdd, the Modelica language, Docker, Dev Containers, as well as expertise in JavaScript/Typescript and Python development, is advantageous. Candidates should also be comfortable with agile methodologies, including code reviews. A postgraduate degree (M.E./M.Tech/Ph.D.) in Computer Science/Engineering or an equivalent field would be considered a plus for this position.,
