As a developer at Modelon, you will be part of a highly skilled team of software engineers focused on developing the OPTIMICA Compiler Toolkit. Your role will involve interacting with other branches of Modelon to provide customer support and assist expert users of the toolkit. Additionally, you will collaborate with a diverse team of experts to build a robust modeling, simulation, and optimization platform. You should bring 1-5 years of experience in developing high-performance software, with a strong background in developing compilers. Proficiency in Java or C++, along with the ability to deliver efficient and reusable code that is easily understood by others, is essential. Good communication skills in English, a track record of building production quality software, and a degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent are also required. Desired skills and experiences include familiarity with the LLVM Compiler Infrastructure Project, JastAdd, Modelica language, Docker, Dev Containers, JavaScript/Typescript, Python, and experience with agile practices and code reviews.
