Modeling Analyst

The role of Risk Modelling at our client's office in Bangalore is a full-time position within the Fund Finance team, operating under the Banking vertical of CIB. This team provides financing to private equity funds and asset managers through structured credit facilities. As a Risk Modelling professional, your primary responsibility will be to comprehend and contribute to the implementation of our risk modelling processes by developing and maintaining SAS/Python models. The majority of our business operations are Excel/SQL reliant and involve processing substantial volumes of data. In this pivotal role within the Risk Modelling team, you will have the opportunity to gain comprehensive insights into the fund finance business processes, pinpoint potential areas of risk, and devise regulatory risk solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Participate in creating, executing, and managing complex and critical models, and independently validate them. - Contribute to establishing and enhancing a highly efficient risk assessment process for a lending business that extends structured credit solutions to prominent private equity and private debt funds. - Develop SAS/SQL/Python-based risk models and strategies to ensure regulatory compliance and enhance portfolio risk management. - Introduce industry best practices and offer consultative insights to facilitate the implementation of advanced risk analytics. - Undertake excel-based user stories, visualize data, and design Excel Macros utilizing VBA & Excel Formula skills.
