Model Development - Machine Learning and AI

Role Overview: As an Associate Consultant/Consultant for machine learning and AI at Northern Trust, you will be a key member of the Risk Modelling Team. Your primary responsibility will be to act as an individual contributor in designing, developing, and deploying machine learning/AI models for predictive analytics. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models for predictive analytics, classification, and optimization tasks. - Develop tools and agents using Co-Pilot/Co-Pilot Studio. - Monitor model performance and retrain models as needed to ensure accuracy and relevance. - Document the model development lifecycle and ensure compliance with internal AI governance and risk policies. - Operate independently with knowledge of banking balance sheets and income statements. - Conduct analysis independently to ensure accuracy and completeness. - Responsible for interaction with different committees and/or senior management. Qualifications: - Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or an advanced degree in a quantitative area. Skills Required: - 4-8 years of experience in machine learning, AI, or data science roles. - Proficiency in Python and ML libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar. - Proficiency with Co-Pilot Studio. - Familiarity with GenAI concepts and applications. - Strong understanding of model lifecycle management, including versioning, monitoring, and retraining. - Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) is a plus. - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
