Mobile Testing Engineer

As a Mobile Manual Tester with 5+ years of experience in Manual Testing, your primary role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Initiate the Test Planning activities for Test case design ensuring quality standards are met. - Participate in the discovery process to understand, analyze, and influence the application/service/system being tested. - Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities. - Drive quality within the team as per the SQM strategy. - Monitor the test progress during the Testing Cycle, ensuring the build/solution meets user acceptance criteria. - Identify delays in achieving the schedule and escalate timely discussions with the team to resolve issues. - Sign off the application/build solution/features with proper documentation. - Provide timely status updates for sprint and post-merge testing, keeping QA LEAD / EL informed of progress/issues. - Identify and prioritize test conditions addressing product risks and features to be tested. - Collaborate with the development team on bug fix verification and validation. - Manage risks and resolve challenges impacting test scope, quality, and schedules. - Assist in troubleshooting quality issues and support team in modifying test procedures. - Support testing of different projects when needed and extend hours as per business requirements. - Support the strategic direction of the Testing & Assurance Practice. - Mentor and provide training assistance to Associate QA Engineers. Qualifications required for this role include: - Ideally 5+ years of QA experience with recent 1+ years of experience in QA team management. - ISTQB or equivalent certification is mandatory. - Thorough knowledge of QA strategy, process, and bug tracking tools. - In-depth understanding of quality engineering in Scrum/Agile environments. - Ability to manage multiple and complex priorities, recognizing when a change of priority is needed. - Desire for personal and professional development. - Good inter-personal, spoken, and written skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent planning and organizing skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. - Supervisory and leadership skills. - Experience in testing Native and Hybrid Apps on Real devices / Cloud platforms / Simulators for IOS and Android. - Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. - Good Knowledge of API and Databases. - Track record of successful troubleshooting and debugging. - Adherence to company policies and mandatory compliance protocols. - Ability to interact positively and effectively in a distributed team environment. Desirable qualifications include: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent business degree. - CI/CD knowledge. - Knowledge of Analytics tools (Amplitude, Segment, Firebase). - Coding and testing skills. - Development Skills considered as a competitive advantage. - Immersed in automation tools such as experitest / perfecto. - Project Management skills. - Self-starter who requires minimal supervision.,
