Mobile Technician

As a Mobile Technician/Engineer with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining mobile devices, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the functionality and performance of smartphones, tablets, and other mobile devices. Your strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and customer-first attitude will be essential for this role. - Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair hardware and software issues in smartphones, tablets, and other mobile devices. - Replace and calibrate components like screens, batteries, charging ports, cameras, and logic boards. - Perform software updates, firmware flashing, and data backup/restoration. - Conduct quality checks post-repairs to ensure device functionality and performance. - Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and customer interactions. - Ensure compliance with company repair standards and ESD safety protocols. - Provide technical support and advice to customers on device care and usage. - Collaborate with team members to enhance repair processes and turnaround time. - Stay updated with the latest mobile technologies and repair techniques. Qualifications: - Diploma or Degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or a related field. - Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in mobile device repair or a related technical role. - Strong understanding of Android and iOS operating systems. - Proficiency in soldering, micro-soldering, and circuit-level repairs (preferred). - Ability to accurately diagnose both hardware and software issues. - Excellent problem-solving and time management skills. - Good communication and customer service abilities. Preferred Skills: - Experience in authorized service centers like Samsung, Apple, Xiaomi, etc. - Familiarity with repair tools such as microscopes, hot air rework stations, and multimeters. - Knowledge of inventory and repair management software. - Certification in mobile device repair (optional but advantageous).
