We’re looking for a Payroll Specialist to handle payments for all our service providers and help keep everything running smoothly. Position Overview: As a Payroll Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to ensure timely, accurate payments to our providers across multiple service categories—massage therapists, nail technicians, and estheticians. You'll oversee the entire payment process from start to finish, working closely with providers to ensure that all payment and invoicing issues are handled professionally and efficiently. This position requires a detail-oriented, dependable professional with a background in payroll or financial management, ideally in the service or hospitality industry. Key Responsibilities: Process payroll for all mobile spa providers, ensuring accurate and timely payments. Review and validate provider invoices, ensuring all necessary details (service type, hours worked, rates, tips, etc.) are correct. Maintain accurate records of provider payments and adjust discrepancies as needed. Track and process payments via various methods (direct deposit, Zelle, Venmo etc). Ensure compliance with state and federal labor laws, tax laws, and payment structures for independent contractors. Handle payroll-related inquiries from providers and resolve any issues related to payments or contract terms. Collaborate with management to ensure seamless scheduling and payment cycles for all providers. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist, Payroll Coordinator, or similar role, preferably within the service, hospitality, or mobile business sectors. Strong understanding of payroll systems and experience with payment processing. Familiarity with the intricacies of independent contractor payments and commission-based pay structures. Proficient in Microsoft Excel Knowledge of tax regulations, deductions, and benefits applicable to independent contractors. Excellent communication skills—ability to interact with a variety of service providers and explain payment-related processes clearly. Trustworthy and capable of handling sensitive financial data with confidentiality and discretion. Previous experience working in the beauty, wellness, or spa industry is a plus.
