Mobile Development lead

You are a highly experienced and visionary Mobile Development lead responsible for leading and scaling our mobile engineering team at Watchyourhealth.com. Your role involves shaping the mobile strategy, managing cross-platform development, ensuring best coding practices, and delivering world-class mobile experiences to users. Your strong leadership, deep technical expertise, and product-first mindset are essential for this position. Your key responsibilities include leading end-to-end mobile application development across iOS and Android platforms, defining mobile architecture and development processes, hiring and growing a high-performing team of mobile developers, collaborating with various teams, ensuring code quality, performance, maintainability, and security of mobile applications, staying updated with new trends and technologies, driving continuous improvement and innovation in mobile engineering processes, leading project planning and execution, and engaging in strategic decision-making. To be successful in this role, you should have proven experience of 8 to 9 years in mobile application development with at least 4 years in a leadership position. You must possess strong hands-on expertise in native (Swift, Dart, Kotlin/Java) and/or cross-platform frameworks (Flutter, React Native), solid understanding of mobile UI/UX best practices, experience in CI/CD, mobile testing automation, crash analytics, and release management, excellent problem-solving and architectural design skills, understanding of REST APIs, backend integration, and cloud-based services, experience in Agile/Scrum teams, and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. It would be advantageous if you have experience with web technologies and backend systems, exposure to DevOps and mobile security best practices, and prior experience in managing offshore or distributed teams.
