Job Summary

Mobile Automation Tester

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using

  Appium with Java

  
  
• Build reusable components and robust test automation frameworks
  
• Execute and analyze automated test runs, and report issues with clear documentation
  
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and manual QA to understand requirements and test coverage
  
• Handle mobile gestures (tap, scroll, swipe, drag, etc.) and complex UI scenarios
  
• Perform testing on

  real devices

  ,

  emulators

  , and

  cloud platforms

  like

  BrowserStack

  or

  Sauce Labs

  
  
• Integrate automated tests into

  CI/CD pipelines

  (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to mobile automation scripts, devices, and tools
  
• Maintain detailed documentation for test cases, framework usage, and automation best practices
  

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong programming skills in

  Java

  
  
• Solid hands-on experience with

  Appium

  for Android and/or iOS testing
  
• Knowledge of

  TestNG

  or

  JUnit

  frameworks
  
• Experience in mobile test automation framework design (e.g., Page Object Model)
  
• Familiarity with tools like

  Appium Inspector

  ,

  UIAutomatorViewer

  , or

  XCUITest

  
  
• Experience with

  Maven

  or

  Gradle

  for dependency management and test execution
  
• Good understanding of mobile testing concepts: gestures, context switching, device compatibility, etc.
  
• Basic knowledge of

• Working knowledge of

• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
  

Preferred/Bonus Skills

• Experience testing
