Mobile Application Developer

About the Role

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain fully functional native mobile applications for both

  iOS (Swift/SwiftUI)

  and

  Android (Kotlin/Jetpack Compose)

  platforms.
• Leverage

  AI coding agents

  to supercharge development, testing, and debugging.
• Collaborate with designers to translate UI/UX concepts into high-quality, responsive, and visually engaging user interfaces.
• Own the test automation process, creating, executing, and maintaining robust automated test suites (including unit, integration, and UI tests) for all app components.
• Integrate applications with backend APIs, ensure secure authentication protocols, and manage real-time data flows.
• Continuously monitor and optimize application performance, responsiveness, and battery usage.
• Stay current with platform guidelines (Apple HIG, Material Design) and advocate for best development and usability practices.
• Use AI-assisted and modern development tools to enhance productivity and code quality.
• Participate in all stages of the software lifecycle: prototyping, shipping, gathering feedback, and iterating quickly.
• Maintain high coding standards, clear documentation, and perform thorough code reviews.
  

Qualifications

• 3+ years of proven experience developing, releasing, and maintaining production-grade iOS and Android native applications.
• Expertise in

  Swift/SwiftUI

  and

  Kotlin/Jetpack Compose

  with a strong grasp of mobile architecture patterns.
• Demonstrated ownership of end-to-end mobile test automation, including frameworks such as

  XCUITest

  and

  Espresso

  .
• Experience building responsive UIs, optimizing app performance, and designing for scalability.
• Thorough understanding of integration with REST/gRPC APIs, authentication, and real-time backend services.
• Familiarity with the App Store and Google Play processes, performance monitoring, and analytics.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, design, and product teams.
• Strong attention to detail, a proactive problem-solving mindset, and a passion for delivering delightful user experiences.
  

Preferred

• Experience with motion design, micro-interactions, or rapid prototyping.
• Participation in open-source mobile projects or design system contributions.
• Experience with A/B testing, analytics pipelines, or feature flagging.
• Familiarity with AI-powered development or design workflows.
