About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Mobile App Developer to join HDFC Bank’s digital team. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms. This role requires strong coding capability, UI/UX understanding, and hands-on experience with both native and cross-platform technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality mobile applications for iOS and Android

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using Swift/Kotlin/JavaScript

• Implement intuitive and responsive UI based on design principles

• Integrate mobile applications with backend systems via RESTful APIs

• Manage app lifecycle: build, deploy, test, release, maintenance

• Implement and manage local data storage (SQLite/Core Data/Shared Preferences)

• Handle state management across complex mobile workflows

• Implement push notifications and in-app messaging

• Optimize application performance (memory, battery, load time)

• Implement offline-first functionality and caching strategies

• Ensure secure coding practices and mobile app security compliance

• Work with cross-functional teams: backend, QA, UI/UX, DevOps

• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in production

• Ensure compatibility across multiple devices and OS versions

Technical Skills Required

Proficiency in:

• Swift (iOS) / Kotlin (Android) / JavaScript

• iOS and Android platform fundamentals

• Mobile SDKs and frameworks

• RESTful API consumption

• Git (version control)

• State management (Redux, MobX, etc.)

• Local data storage systems

• App lifecycle management

• Push notifications

• Responsive & adaptive design

• Cross-platform: React Native / Flutter

• Performance optimization

• Offline-first approaches

• Security best practices for mobile apps

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Good understanding of UI/UX

• Ability to work independently and in a team

• Strong communication and documentation skills

Contract Details

• Client: HDFC Bank

• Tenure: Minimum 12 months

• Work Mode: Onsite (Airoli, Mumbai)
