Mobile Application Automation Tester (Python, Appium)

As a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) at our company, you will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to the quality and reliability of our products. Your role will involve designing, developing, and executing test automation frameworks for mobile and API testing. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain robust test automation frameworks for mobile, API, and web applications. - Design, implement, and execute automated test cases to cover various test scenarios. - Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify test automation opportunities and enhance test coverage. - Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues. - Stay updated with the latest testing tools, technologies, and industry best practices. - Participate in code reviews to provide feedback on code quality and testability. - Contribute to the overall test strategy and automation roadmap. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's in Engineering/Technology (B.E / B.Tech). - Expertise in Python, Python libraries, and frameworks relevant to test automation (e.g., unittest, pytest, selenium-webdriver for Appium integration). - Experience with mobile test automation frameworks (Appium, Espresso, XCTest). - Proficiency in API testing tools and frameworks (Postman, Rest Assured, JMeter). - Expertise in web test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright). - Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and testing methodologies. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong attention to detail and quality focus. Additionally, you may have the following preferred skills: - Experience with performance testing and load testing. - Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms. - Experience with test data management. - Understanding of security testing concepts.,
