MOBILE APP ENGINEER

In the role of React Native Developer at JM Financial, you will have the opportunity to work in a team environment to build React Native iOS and Android applications. Your responsibilities and tasks will include: - Building pixel-perfect, smooth UIs for mobile platforms with a focus on app performance - Implementing clean, modern animations and transitions to enhance user experience - Leveraging native APIs for deep integrations on both platforms - Writing high-quality code following best practices for coding, compliance, security, and performance - Diagnosing and resolving bugs and performance bottlenecks to ensure native-like performance - Using additional libraries such as Redux for state management and asynchronous API calls - Releasing applications on Apple and Google Play stores - Improving product quality through code reviews, unit tests, and collaboration with QA for automation testing To be successful in this role, you should have the following core skills and experience: - Extensive background in JavaScript/Typescript - Professional experience in developing production-ready mobile apps with React Native - Knowledge of functional programming and third-party dependencies - Understanding of mobile app design guidelines on iOS and Android platforms - Familiarity with native build tools like XCode and Gradle - Proficiency in REST APIs, document request model, and offline storage - Commitment to React Native best practices and clean code architecture The technology stack you will be working with includes JavaScript, React Native, Linux/OSX Bash, Optimizely, Mixpanel, SendGrid, Git, NPM, Google Cloud Datastore, Google App Engine, and Cloud Endpoints.
