MM-BOM Nuclear PEE Specialist

. Knowledge of codes and standards, like ASME BPVC (SEC-III: Nuclear Facility Components, SEC-V: NDE, SEC-VIII: Pressure Vessels), ASME B31.1, IEEE, IEC and other ASME standards of individual components used to build the power plant systems, material standards ASTM/ASME BPVC-II, etc.

. Extensive experience in major mechanical equipment of power plant and BOP (nuclear/ thermal/gas) including turbines, pumps, fans, compressor, piping, tanks and vessels, valves, dampers, actuators, heat exchangers, HVAC components, etc.

. Extensive experience in Electrical and Control & Instrumentation equipment of power plant and BOP like power transformers, switchgears, control systems and field instrument, etc.

. Understanding of design documents like Equipment Specifications, Drawings, BOM, Parts list, Datasheets, P&IDs, Environment and Seismic qualification reports etc. which are required to fill the technical attributes of equipment and spares.

. Understanding and knowledge of quality and testing requirement for equipment and spares procurement specification.

. Must have worked on Power Plant engineering. Knowledge of commissioning and plant process is add on.

. Good communication skills.

. Good to have: Having a knowledge and experience in SAP material master (MM) data management related to functional location, equipment, Bill of material (BoM), maintenance item is added advantage

. Perform Procurement Engineering Evaluation (PEE) of the MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) Spares and develop Bill of Material (BOM) in SAP MM module. MM code creation, cleansing, standardization, technical attribute enrichment, classification & categorization (nuclear safety-non safety, quality class, purchase class, safety function and criticality analysis, Environment qualification, Seismic qualification), de-duplicating, and end use application linking activities for ERP master data management in SAP MM/PM. Prepare parts PO specifications for right part procurement with required quality and testing checks.
