Job Description

ML Engineer

We are looking for a motivated NLP colleague to join our team and help us develop and implement the first iteration of our NLP modelsThe ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Machine Learning principles and a passion for NLP.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop and deploy custom NLP models, working closely with the Tech team
Train/fine-tune models for semantic search (retrieval + ranking models), text and span classification and recommendation tasks
Work on building datasets for various NLP tasks
Iteratively conduct experiments, analyze the results, and provide insights
Write efficient, scalable, and clean code

Minimum Requirements:

Should have Bachelors or a Masters degree in a technical field.
Familiarity with NLP, Hugginface, Lora and Machine Learning algorithms, especially Transformers
Programming experience in Python and familiarity with libraries such as PyTorch, or similar.
Good understanding of linear algebra, calculus, and statistics.
Ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Transformer models like BERT.
Experience with Bi-encoder, Cross-encoders, and Sentence embeddings
Experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS, GCP, Azure
Experience with dense-vector databases such as FAISS
Previous internships or project experience in Natural Language Processing or Machine Learning
Experience with field of NLP, Hugginface, Lora.
