Role Summary: The Team Lead will be responsible for overseeing the Sales and Service Delivery Team to ensure high-quality customer engagement, consistent student experience, and meeting revenue targets. This role is crucial in aligning operational execution with the academy’s growth vision. Key Responsibilities: Team Management Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Sales Executives and Customer Support Associates. Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and skill development sessions. Maintain team motivation and ensure alignment with academy goals. Sales Oversight Set daily/weekly/monthly sales targets for the team. Monitor lead pipeline and follow-up systems using CRM tools (if used). Handle high-priority or sensitive sales leads personally when required. Support in converting trial classes to paid enrollments. Customer Experience & Service Delivery Ensure timely onboarding of new students and smooth scheduling of classes. Maintain high parent satisfaction by overseeing issue resolution and feedback loops. Collaborate with Chess Coaches to ensure quality delivery and coach-student fit. Process Optimization Improve existing workflows and SOPs to streamline operations. Identify bottlenecks in sales/service delivery and resolve them proactively. Reporting & Analysis Generate and present weekly reports on leads, conversion rates, retention, and class fulfillment. Track team KPIs and propose strategy changes based on data insights. Cross-functional Collaboration Work closely with Curriculum Developers, Marketing, and Coach Coordinators to maintain program excellence. Support event coordination (tournaments, workshops, etc.) when required. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree (Business, Education, or similar field preferred). 2+ years of experience in team leadership roles, preferably in EdTech or coaching institutes. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Good understanding of CRM tools and basic Excel/Google Sheets. Empathetic yet assertive approach in managing both team and parents. Passion for chess/education is a big plus (not mandatory to be a player). We are currently seeking a Chess Coach / Trainer to oversee gameplay and deliver training sessions to children participating in our chess classes. While prior knowledge of the subjects is beneficial, we offer comprehensive training to ensure you are well-prepared for the role. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Motivating students to learn and enhance their chess skills - Supervising, playing, and training children during weekday chess sessions (excluding Mondays) - Promoting activities that align with the academy's objectives To excel in this position, the ideal candidate should possess the following competencies: - Proficiency in chess rules and gameplay - Previous experience as a coach or active participant in chess - High school diploma or equivalent qualification - Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with students, parents, colleagues, and the community - Effective communication skills, both verbal and written This is a full-time role that offers various benefits such as cell phone reimbursement, commuter assistance, paid sick leave, and work-from-home opportunities.
