Job Description

As a Midrange Operations Analyst at our company, your role will involve supporting the successful delivery of Location Strategy projects by ensuring they meet plan, budget, quality, and governance standards. You will play a key role in driving innovation and excellence in our digital landscape to enhance customer experiences. **Key Responsibilities:** - Knowledge on HP Nonstop Infrastructure with significant experience in relevant technology - HP NonStop Support - TACL - Pathway - MQ - Connect Direct - BASE24 - Tandem Utilities (FUP & SCF, TMF & RDF) - Willingness to work in a 24/7 shift pattern **Qualifications Required:** - Experience with Scheduling Toolset, preferably Multi batch & Event Timer - Familiarity with Encryption Toolsets, preferably Comforte - ITIL certification You will be assessed based on critical skills such as risk management, change management, strategic thinking, digital and technology knowledge, and job-specific technical skills. **Purpose of the role:** Your main responsibilities will include building and maintaining infrastructure platforms and products to support applications and data systems. You will ensure that the infrastructure is reliable, scalable, and secure by applying software engineering techniques, automation, and best practices in incident response. **Accountabilities:** - Build Engineering: Develop, deliver, and maintain high-quality infrastructure solutions to meet business requirements - Incident Management: Monitor IT infrastructure performance and address any issues or outages promptly - Automation: Implement automated tasks and processes to improve efficiency - Security: Implement secure configurations to protect against cyber threats - Teamwork: Collaborate with product managers and engineers to align IT infrastructure with business objectives - Learning: Stay informed of industry trends and contribute to technical excellence within the organization **Analyst Expectations:** - Perform activities in a timely and high-quality manner - Lead and supervise a team, guiding professional development and coordinating resources - Demonstrate a clear set of leadership behaviors if in a leadership position - Act as an advisor and develop technical expertise as an individual contributor - Partner with other functions and business areas - Take ownership of operational activities and escalate issues as needed By embodying the Barclays Values of Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence, and Stewardship, as well as the Barclays Mindset of Empower, Challenge, and Drive, you will contribute to a culture of excellence and integrity within the organization.,
