Microsoft Sentinel

Secondary mandate skill required.

Microsoft Azure Policy, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and Conditional Access

Experience in securing cloud-native applications and infrastructure.

Familiarity with healthcare data protection regulations and compliance frameworks

Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled Application/Cloud Security Engineer to strengthen our cloud security posture and ensure the protection of sensitive healthcare data across our Azure environments.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Azure Security Services, a strong understanding of cloud security best practices, and a proactive approach to threat detection and mitigation.

Team Composition and Responsibilities

Team need to onboard a team of four engineers immediately to lead this effort. This team will be responsible for both the migration and providing expert guidance on overall Azure platform security, with a focus on implementing security hardening. One of the four engineers will be a leader, while the other three will be team members.

Key Skills and Certifications

A key skill required is expertise in Entra ID management for connecting to our on-premises Active Directory sync/connect. The team will be responsible for setting this up and maintaining it. All engineers are required to hold the Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate certification.

Future Role

Upon completion of the migration, this team will transition into a Cloud Security Operations role.
