Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Microsoft 365 Administration

  • Administer and manage Microsoft 365 tenant and core services
  • Manage users, licenses, groups, roles, and access policies
  • Configure and maintain Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams

Exchange Online & Email Management

  • Handle mailbox provisioning, migrations, retention policies, and mail flow rules
  • Troubleshoot email delivery issues, spam filtering, and security alerts
  • Manage shared mailboxes, distribution lists, and resource mailboxes

Identity & Access Management

  • Manage Azure AD / Entra ID users, groups, and role-based access control (RBAC)
  • Support Hybrid Identity, Azure AD Connect, and directory synchronization issues
  • Implement Conditional Access and MFA policies

Security & Compliance

  • Configure Microsoft Defender (Office 365 security features)
  • Manage data loss prevention (DLP), retention, and compliance policies
  • Assist in security incident investigation and remediation

L2 Support & Troubleshooting

  • Handle L2 incidents related to Microsoft 365 services
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and provide permanent fixes
  • Escalate complex issues to L3 / Microsoft Support with proper documentation

Monitoring, Reporting & Documentation

  • Monitor service health, alerts, and usage reports
  • Prepare operational MIS reports and audit documentation
  • Maintain SOPs, KB articles, and configuration documentation

Required Skills & Technical Expertise

  • Strong hands-on experience in Microsoft 365 administration (L2 level)
  • Expertise in Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Teams
  • Good knowledge of Azure AD / Entra ID, MFA, Conditional Access
  • Understanding of Microsoft 365 security & compliance features
  • Experience with PowerShell for basic automation and reporting
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management)

  • Ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Freshservice, Jira – any)

Educational Qualification

  • B.E. / B.Tech / MCA / Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent
  • Microsoft certifications (MS-102, MS-500, Azure fundamentals) – Preferred

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • 4–7 years of relevant Microsoft 365 administration experience
  • Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle escalations
  • Immediate joiner or short notice preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹588,647.95 - ₹800,000.00 per year
