Job Description

key Roles & Applications

  • Food Safety: Testing for harmful bacteria (like E. coli, Salmonella), toxins, and spoilage organisms (yeasts, molds, bacteria) in foods, juices, dairy, etc., to prevent foodborne illnesses.
  • Fermentation & Production: Utilizing beneficial microbes (yeasts, bacteria) to create flavors, textures, and extend shelf life in products like yogurts, cheeses, fermented drinks, and even some baked goods.
  • Quality Assurance: Verifying product integrity, ensuring consistency, and validating cleaning procedures (sanitization) across the value chain.
  • Packaging Integrity: Setting microbiological limits for food contact materials to prevent contamination from packaging itself.
  • Shelf-Life Studies: Assessing microbial growth potential (like Listeria) over time to determine safe expiry dates.
  • Personal Care & Household: Ensuring hygiene products (soaps, deodorants) are free from harmful microbes and contaminants (e.g., banned chemicals causing reactions).

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
