Teach and mentor MBBS students in theoretical and practical aspects of Microbiology.
Conduct lectures, demonstrations, tutorials, and integrated teaching sessions. Supervise diagnostic microbiology services including bacteriology, virology, mycology, parasitology, and immunology. Ensure implementation of infection control policies and hospital-acquired infection (HAI) surveillance. Guide students in research, dissertations, and scholarly publications. Participate in departmental CMEs, workshops, and interdisciplinary teaching. Ensure laboratory quality assurance, biosafety, and NABL/NABH compliance. Collaborate with clinicians for infection diagnosis, antimicrobial stewardship, and patient management.
