About the Role

Upstream Process Development Scientist

Key Responsibilities

Develop and optimize
upstream processes for microbial fermentation
(bacteria, yeast, or other industrial strains)
Perform
media optimization, inoculum preparation, and fermentation parameter studies /
Scale-up processes from
lab to pilot and production scale
Troubleshoot fermentation issues and improve process robustness
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with
GLP/GMP
standards
Collaborate with downstream and analytical teams for integrated process development

What Were Looking For

Strong knowledge of
microbial physiology, fermentation technology, and bioprocess engineering
Hands-on experience with
bioreactors (lab and pilot scale)
Ability to work
independently with minimal supervision
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
