Key Responsibilities: Fermentation Process Development & Scale-Up ? Optimize microbial fermentation processes from lab to production scale. Work on media design, process parameters, oxygen transfer, agitation, and yield maximization. ? Conduct scale-up trials and analyze results for process improvement. Post-Fermentation Downstream Processing (DSP) ? Support separation, concentration, drying, and formulation operations including centrifugation, filtration, solvent extraction, and spray drying. ? Document process observations and suggest improvements. Tech Transfer & Documentation ? Assist in transferring processes from R&D to pilot/production with complete documentation. ? Prepare SOPs, BMRs, process reports, and compliance documents. Quality, Monitoring, and Troubleshooting ? Collaborate with QA/QC for analytical data and troubleshooting. ? Monitor batch performance, microbial growth kinetics, and contamination risks. Equipment Handling ? Operate and monitor fermenters, seed vessels, filtration equipment, and dryers. ?
