MES Technical Consultant

Role Overview: You will be an MES Consultant at PSI Software Process Industries & Metals, focusing on revolutionizing manufacturing with cutting-edge PSImetals solutions. Your responsibilities will include developing MES systems, integrating shop floor and ERP data, optimizing processes, and driving operational excellence through strategic implementation and real-time data exchange. Building strong customer relationships and ensuring seamless adoption will be crucial, along with contributing to the future of manufacturing through regular travel for implementation and support. Key Responsibilities: - Develop MES systems and integrate shop floor and ERP data - Optimize manufacturing processes for operational excellence - Drive strategic implementation and real-time data exchange - Build and maintain strong customer relationships for seamless adoption - Travel 50% per month for customer site implementation and support Qualifications Required: - Technical or Business degree with 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, including 1+ year in metals - Experience in large-scale manufacturing IT or transformation programs - Proficiency in PL/SQL, Oracle, Java, Python, or Angular with hands-on coding, database management, and interface development - Strong understanding of MES platforms and seamless connectivity with ERP and shop floor systems (PLC, OPC) - Willingness to travel for customer site implementation and support Additional Details: PSI Software Process Industries & Metals has been a market leader for over 50 years, providing software and consultancy for production management solutions in the metal industry.
