MES Support Engineer

As an MES Support Engineer at Insight Global, you will play a crucial role in supporting Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) for one of the largest locomotive/transit manufacturing clients. Your primary responsibility will be to provide support during the implementation process of an in-house built MES at state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in India. This is a long-term project with multiple phases, where you will be involved from the initial implementation to providing L1 + L2 support post-implementation. To excel in this role, you must have a 30-day or less notice period and a minimum of 3 years of experience supporting MES. Proficiency in SQL Database, the ability to write and execute queries, and a good understanding of the manufacturing process and its translation to IT/digital are essential. You should also be adept at documenting tasks using MS Planner and spreadsheets, analyzing progress on tasks, and have experience supporting Windows operating systems. In addition to the must-haves, any experience in Project Management, LAMBDA functions, and familiarity with the Service Now ticketing system would be considered a plus.
