Mern Stack Developer Intern

As a MERN Stack Engineer Intern, you will be an integral part of our development team, focusing on enhancing our telemedicine platform's patient portal, doctor portal, and admin panel. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js. You will also be involved in implementing responsive UI designs, integrating APIs for video/audio consultations and AI-driven modules, and ensuring HIPAA-compliant data storage protocols. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with designers, mobile app developers, and AI engineers. Your problem-solving skills will be put to the test as you test and debug applications to ensure optimal performance across various devices. Participation in daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings is essential to keep the project on track. The ideal candidate should have a basic knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and React.js, along with familiarity with Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB. Understanding REST APIs, JSON data handling, and Git/GitHub version control is required. Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment are also essential. Experience with Socket.IO or WebRTC, JWT authentication, and healthcare software compliance (HIPAA, GDPR) are considered beneficial. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS/Azure is a plus.
