Role Overview: At PwC, the tax services team is dedicated to offering advice and guidance to clients concerning tax planning, compliance, and strategy. As a member of the team, you will play a vital role in assisting businesses in understanding and navigating intricate tax regulations to optimize their tax positions. Specifically, if you specialize in mergers and acquisition tax, your primary responsibility will involve providing expert tax advice and guidance during mergers, acquisitions, and other business transactions. This will entail analyzing the tax implications of these transactions, devising tax structures, and aiding clients in navigating complex tax regulations to enhance tax outcomes. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze tax implications of mergers, acquisitions, and other business transactions - Develop tax structures to optimize tax outcomes - Assist clients in navigating complex tax regulations - Provide expert tax advice and guidance during transactions - Adapt to working with a variety of clients and team members in a fast-paced environment - Deliver quality work that adds value for clients and contributes to the team's success - Actively engage in Project Management Office/Integration Management Office activities - Support new team members through coaching and training Qualifications Required: - 2-4 years of relevant experience - Understanding of agile project management techniques and scrum methodology - Experience in M&A, diligence, integration, separation, or divestitures, preferably with a large consulting firm - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills - Strong team player with effective written and verbal communication skills in English - Self-motivated with a commitment to personal growth and continuous training - Flexibility and willingness to work extended hours based on business demands,
