Merchandiser

The role of Merchandiser in Ekkatuthangal, Chennai requires an experienced individual with 3 to 5 years of experience. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for supporting the Senior Merchandiser, continuously improving your merchandising skills, working both independently and as part of a team, handling pressure, and meeting deadlines. Your knowledge of woven and/or knitted garments will be essential as you visit factories/suppliers, provide daily production updates to the merchant team, and present products with comprehensive details for management review. Additionally, you will coordinate with suppliers to manage inventory, prepare production files and BOM, maintain fabric and accessory details, record order bookings, and liaise with the QA team to meet buyer requirements promptly. To excel in this role, you should possess strong communication skills, be adept at multitasking, and have expertise in MS Office. The ideal candidate would be a male or female with an undergraduate degree, proficient in English and Hindi, and have experience dealing with domestic brands. This is a full-time, permanent position with a day shift schedule.
