As a Sample and Order Execution Assistant at Calvin Klein, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with different teams to ensure the successful execution of samples and orders in alignment with the brand's strategy. Your primary responsibilities and accountabilities include: - Conducting bulk TNA assessments - Managing early commits (EC) - Handling buy placements and order tracking - Performing risk assessments - Mapping purchase orders (PO) with vendors based on confirmed buys - Coordinating RA meetings with QA and factory - Managing work-in-progress (WIP) - Assisting the supervisor with daily execution - Following up on bulk production execution, including trims, fabric production schedules, and delivery status - Ensuring on-time delivery (OTD) by providing quick feedback and clarifications to vendors as needed - Utilizing PLM, SAP, and Infor Nexus systems - Being proficient in Microsoft Excel for apparel sourcing tasks including data analysis, order tracking, and vendor management In this role, you will work closely with internal contacts such as other business counterparts, material experts, colorists, and technical teams. Your external contacts will primarily involve liaising with vendors. To excel in this position, you should hold a University/Engineering degree with 1-2 years of related work experience or a post-secondary degree with a minimum of 3-5 years of related work experience in the apparel, material, or technical background. Additionally, experience in a buying/trading office or manufacturing environment is preferred.
