Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, execution, and coordination of MEP systems in high-rise residential projects. The role requires extensive knowledge of local building codes, sustainable design practices, and cost-effective MEP solutions to ensure efficient and high-quality project delivery. Key Responsibilities : Review and validate MEP designs, drawings, and specifications in coordination with architects and structural engineers. Ensure compliance with national and local building codes, fire safety norms, and sustainability standards. Evaluate HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting, and ELV (Extra Low Voltage) system designs for optimal efficiency. Collaborate with design consultants to optimize MEP layouts for cost-effectiveness and operational efficiency. Oversee the execution of MEP works on-site, ensuring adherence to approved drawings and specifications. Coordinate with civil engineers, contractors, and vendors for seamless integration of MEP services. Monitor project timelines, budgets, and material procurement to avoid delays or cost overruns. Conduct regular inspections, quality checks, and ensure adherence to safety and quality regulations. Identify and liaise with MEP contractors, vendors, and suppliers for cost-effective solutions. Review and assess BOQs, technical proposals, and tender documents. Ensure quality control in materials, workmanship, and installation processes. Supervise system testing, commissioning, and final handover of MEP services. Conduct troubleshooting and recommend solutions for defects or system inefficiencies. Provide training to facility management teams for MEP system operations and maintenance. Required Qualifications : Education: B.E./ B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering. Experience: 7-10 years of experience in MEP engineering, specifically in high-rise residential . Projects : Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting, ELV, and sustainability standards. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, MS Project, or other relevant design software. Strong project management and coordination skills. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
