2. Role Description

The MEP Engineer will be responsible for the design, coordination, and technical management of Mechanical,

Electrical, Plumbing, Fire, and ICT systems across mixed-use and industrial warehousing projects. The role

ensures design optimization, energy efficiency, and code compliance while integrating MEP systems seamlessly

into overall project designs.

3. Essential Accountabilities

Key responsibilities Description

MEP Design & Development - Design HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire systems for mixed-

use projects.

- Conduct load calculations and system analysis for performance

and efficiency.

Coordination & Integration - Collaborate with architectural and structural teams for design

alignment.

- Ensure spatial and functional coordination of MEP services.

Quality Control & Compliance - Review shop drawings, submittals, and contractor

documentation.

- Conduct site inspections and monitor installation quality.

Energy Efficiency &

Sustainability

- Implement design solutions supporting energy conservation and

sustainability.

- Align with LEED, IGBC, and other green building standards.

Project Support &

Troubleshooting

- Provide on-site technical support during execution and

commissioning.

- Address and resolve MEP-related challenges.

4. Educational Requirement and Work Experience

• Education Requirements: Bachelors and Master’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.

• Years of experience: 10–12 years in design and engineering of MEP systems in commercial/industrial

projects.

• Work Experience Requirements: Familiarity with ASHRAE, NEC, NFPA, LEED, and IGBC

standards.
