As a MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, planning, installing, and managing essential building systems such as HVAC, power, water, and fire safety within construction projects. Your role will involve ensuring seamless integration with civil structures, compliance with codes, and coordination with architects/contractors for functionality, safety, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Design & Planning: Develop MEP system designs including HVAC, electrical layouts, plumbing networks, and fire suppression systems. - Coordination: Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to integrate MEP systems into overall building plans. - Installation Oversight: Supervise the installation and maintenance of MEP equipment such as ducts, pipes, wiring, and fixtures. - Compliance: Ensure adherence to building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications. - Technical Management: Prepare budgets, review technical documents, create reports, and troubleshoot issues. Core Systems Managed: - Mechanical: Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning (HVAC), chillers, ductwork. - Electrical: Power distribution, lighting, fire alarms, security, data networking. - Plumbing: Water supply, drainage, sewage, and fire sprinkler systems. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering. - Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, HVAC/Electrical/Plumbing design software. - Knowledge: Strong understanding of building codes, construction methods, and project management. - Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and teamwork.
