Job Description

Role Overview: You will be part of the development team at Nutanix Cloud Manager, working on building the next generation platform to assist enterprises in modeling, developing, and managing applications. Your role will involve translating requirements and user stories into design specifications and enterprise-grade code, implementing new features, maintaining unit tests, troubleshooting issues, mentoring junior developers, and improving the performance and scalability of services. You will also interact with other teams across the system software stack to communicate technical views and designs effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Build Multi-Tenant Service Provider solution as part of the development team. - Translate requirements and user stories into design specifications and enterprise-grade code. - Implement new features and enhance existing features. - Write and maintain unit tests and integration tests to ensure product reliability and scalability. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production and non-production environments. - Mentor junior developers and interns, and conduct code reviews. - Enhance performance and scalability of services. - Apply key distributed design principles like CAP theorem, PACELC, etc. in virtualized environments. - Collaborate with other teams to communicate technical views and designs clearly. Qualifications Required: - Experience in one of the programming languages: GoLang, Java, Python. - Strong knowledge of Linux and Kubernetes. - Working experience with storage, networking, virtualization (Nutanix, VM Ware, KVM), and/or cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Familiarity with database (SQL, Document-based) and messaging technologies (NATS, Kafka, Pulsar). - Understanding of OS internals, distributed data management concepts, and web scale systems. - Experience in building and managing web scale applications. - BS/MS in Computer Science or Engineering. - 7-8 years of experience in designing and developing applications.
