Description The OPERATION - MICE role is responsible for the planning, execution, and management of meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in the MICE sector, showcasing exceptional project management skills and a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities Plan and execute MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) events from conception to completion. Coordinate with clients to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions. Manage logistics including venue selection, catering, transportation, and accommodation for participants. Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial constraints. Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to secure the best rates and services. Oversee on-site event management to ensure smooth execution and troubleshooting of any issues that arise. Conduct post-event evaluations to assess success and gather feedback for future improvements. Skills and Qualifications 6-8 years of experience in MICE operations or event management. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and vendor interactions. Proficiency in event management software and tools. Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
