Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Responsible for operating and maintaining the Multi Effect Evaporator (MEE), Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), and Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and efficient wastewater treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor MEE, ETP, and RO plants to ensure smooth and continuous operations.
Maintain parameters like pH, TDS, flow rate, and chemical dosing as per standards.
Carry out routine inspection and preventive maintenance of treatment systems.
Monitor influent and effluent water quality and maintain records.
Handle chemical preparation, dosing, and sludge management.
Ensure timely backwashing, cleaning, and flushing of RO membranes.
Keep logs and report daily plant operations and breakdowns.
Coordinate with the maintenance and production teams for troubleshooting.
Follow safety, health, and environmental (SHE) protocols at all times.

Requirements:

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical/Chemical/Environment or related field.
4-5 years of hands-on experience in ETP, MEE & RO operation in an industrial setup (preferably edible oil or FMCG sector).
Strong understanding of wastewater treatment processes and water quality parameters.
Knowledge of regulatory norms (Pollution Control Board compliance) is a plus.
