Job Description

Responsibilities

Transcribe medical records, including patient histories, discharge summaries, and medical reports
Ensure documents are accurate and free from errors
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify any unclear information
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
Manage and organize electronic and paper records
Assist in preparing documents for medical reviews and audits
Update templates and standardize medical documentation

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Certification in medical transcription or related field preferred
Prior experience as a medical typist or transcriptionist
Strong understanding of medical terminology
Excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Strong organizational skills
