Medical scribe

As a Medical Scribe, your role involves documenting all physician-patient interactions in real-time during consultations. You will be responsible for accurately updating patient information in the Electronic Health Records (EHR) system and preparing patient charts before appointments. Additionally, you will retrieve and review diagnostic test results, lab work, and imaging records, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all documentation requirements. Maintaining strict confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations is crucial, along with assisting in administrative tasks and collaborating with the medical staff and office team for smooth clinic operations. Key Responsibilities: - Document all physician-patient interactions in real-time - Update patient information in the EHR system - Prepare and organize patient charts - Retrieve and review diagnostic test results and imaging records - Ensure timely completion of documentation - Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA regulations - Assist with administrative tasks - Collaborate with medical staff and office team Qualifications Required: - Any lifescience degree or equivalent; associate degree in health sciences is a plus - Knowledge of medical terminology and EHR systems - Excellent listening and typing skills - Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask - Proficiency with medical software and Microsoft Office tools - Ability to handle sensitive patient data with discretion In addition, the job is offered on a full-time, permanent basis, and is suitable for fresher candidates.
