Medical Scientist

As a Medical Scientist at Syneos Health in Shanghai/Beijing, you will play a crucial role in developing medical plans and supporting data analysis to ensure successful project milestones. Your responsibilities will include: - Collaborating with the Medical Director to develop medical plans such as the Medical Management Plan, Medical Data Review Plan, and Eligibility Review Plan. Engaging with external experts to gather necessary medical/scientific input. - Conducting regular and ad-hoc medical review of data listings, analyzing data patterns, and identifying risks. Authoring medical data queries and overseeing query responses. - Supporting the Medical Director in various tasks including patient profiles review, protocol deviation review, and preparation of Medical Review Summary report. - Managing project scope, objectives, and deliverable quality. Serving as the primary interface between internal teams, customers, and vendors for medical data review. - Attending Trusted Process meetings, participating in audits, and ensuring adherence to data privacy guidelines, ICH, GCPs, and project plans. Qualifications required for this role include: - A degree in life sciences (MSc, PharmD, PhD, DMD, MD) or equivalent with relevant scientific experience. - Excellent time management skills, ability to work in a regulated environment, and troubleshoot situations effectively. - Understanding of scientific principles for medical data analysis, strong written and oral communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office programs. - Knowledge of drug development, familiarity with ICH/GCP guidelines, and a collaborative team player with interpersonal skills.
