Medical Representative (MR)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Medical Representative (MR) to promote our pharmaceutical/veterinary products to healthcare professionals (HCPs), chemists, and distributors. The role involves building strong relationships, ensuring product availability, and driving sales growth in the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote company products to doctors, chemists, stockists, and veterinary practitioners (as applicable).

• Conduct regular visits to hospitals, clinics, medical stores, and institutions.

• Generate and increase prescriptions/sales through effective product detailing and relationship building.

• Ensure proper implementation of marketing strategies and product campaigns.

• Plan daily field activities and maintain accurate doctor-call reports and sales records.

• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and objectives.

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships for long-term business success.

• Monitor competitor activities and market trends and share feedback with the marketing team.

• Ensure timely collection of payments and manage credit lines with distributors/stockists.

• Participate in medical conferences, CMEs, and product training sessions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Graduate in Pharmacy / Science / Commerce or related fields.

• 0–2 years of experience as an MR (Freshers can apply if they are enthusiastic and well-spoken).

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong product knowledge and a passion for healthcare/pharma/veterinary fields.

• Ability to work independently and manage field operations efficiently.

• Must own a two-wheeler and a smartphone.
