Role Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled MBBS-qualified doctor to join our Teleconsultation & Emergency Medical Support team. In this role, you will provide remote medical consultations via phone, video, or chat to patients across India.
You will assess and manage a wide range of health concerns — from general medical issues to emergency situations — offering immediate, actionable advice and triaging when necessary. You’ll be an integral part of our medical command center operations, contributing to accessible, high-quality digital healthcare.

Key Responsibilities
1. Teleconsultation Duties
- Conduct remote consultations via phone, video, or chat for general health concerns, chronic illnesses, or follow-ups.
- Assess patient symptoms and history to provide accurate diagnoses.
- Recommend treatment plans, including prescriptions, home care, or lifestyle modifications.
- Prescribe medications within telemedicine guidelines, ensuring safety and compliance.
- Educate patients in simple terms about their condition and preventive care.
- Document all consultations accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Provide follow-up care to monitor patient recovery and resolve any concerns.
2. Emergency Teleconsultation
- Provide initial guidance in emergency cases over the phone to patients or ambulance staff.
- Rapidly assess symptoms (e.g., chest pain, trauma, allergic reactions) and make informed decisions.
- Coordinate with emergency teams to support timely and appropriate medical action.
- Offer first aid instructions and manage crises remotely until in-person care is available.
- Escalate critical cases to higher levels of care when required.
3. Training & Certification
- Participate in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) training if not already certified.
- Attend ongoing training sessions to stay updated with the latest in telemedicine, emergency care, and digital health.
4. Collaboration with Healthcare Teams
- Collaborate with specialists, nurses, and emergency medical technicians to ensure holistic patient care.
- Participate in internal quality audits, case reviews, and safety assessments.
5. Education & Outreach
- Conduct internal training on First Aid and CPR for staff or clients.
- Host webinars or health talks on topics such as preventive care, chronic disease management, or mental health.
- Contribute to onboarding and training non-clinical staff on health topics and protocols.
- Support patient education and awareness campaigns via virtual platforms.
Qualifications
- MBBS degree from a recognized medical institution.
- Valid medical license to practice in India.
- Experience in general practice, emergency medicine, or telemedicine is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with telemedicine platforms, EHR systems, and digital tools is an advantage.
- BLS/ACLS certification (or willingness to obtain upon joining).
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume telehealth environment.
