Medical Officer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Medical Officer with a Diploma in Emergency Medicine or Intensive Care to join our rehabilitation facility. The role is focused on ICU-based care for patients requiring ongoing monitoring and medical management. There is no casualty or emergency department setup.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide medical care and monitoring for patients admitted to the ICU within the rehab facility
• Manage critically ill and post-acute patients requiring intensive support
• Perform daily clinical assessments and develop ongoing treatment plans
• Monitor vitals, investigations, and response to treatment
• Coordinate care with consultants, nurses, physiotherapists, and the rehabilitation team
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and progress notes
• Ensure adherence to patient safety, infection control, and clinical protocols

Requirements:

• MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
• Diploma in Emergency Medicine or Intensive Care
• Valid medical registration/license
• Experience in ICU or critical care settings
• Ability to manage stable and semi-critical patients in a rehabilitation environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills
