Medical Lab Assistant

The position of Lab Assistant requires a smart and enthusiastic individual with relevant qualifications in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) or a related field. Both experienced and fresh candidates are eligible for this role. The ideal candidate should possess a diploma or certificate program in MLT or a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in MLT. As a Lab Assistant, you will play a crucial role in healthcare by performing laboratory tests to aid in diagnosing and treating diseases. Your responsibilities will include collecting and preparing patient samples, performing various laboratory tests such as hematology, microbiology, clinical chemistry, and immunology tests, analyzing test results, operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, ensuring quality control procedures, maintaining a safe and clean laboratory environment, communicating with healthcare staff, and keeping accurate records and reports. The ideal candidate should be proficient in using laboratory instruments like microscopes, centrifuges, and automated analyzers. Attention to detail, accuracy, and adherence to safety protocols are essential for this role. Effective communication skills are also required to discuss test results and findings with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Females are preferred for this position. The salary offered for this role is 12k per month. This is a full-time job with a day shift schedule. The work location is in person.
