Designation : Specialised Medical Doctor (Paediatrician) Location : - Bihar,Goa,Jharkhand,Goa,West Bengal Main Tasks Responsibilities - Applying medical knowledge and skills to prevention, diagnosis and treatment of children, ensuring integrated newborn and paediatric care through Emergency, OPD, and IPD services in Newborns and cases of malnutrition - Prescribing the necessary treatment, and respecting DWBI protocols - Collaborating closely with the different members of the team, Knowing and ensuring all updated DWBI medical protocols and universal precautions are followed and implemented, reducing bio-hazard risks and improving infection control - As an expert in paediatrics, proposing strategy (modification on current newborn and paediatric care management) and implementing them after validation of Operation and Paediatric Advisor - Ensuring ongoing newborn and paediatric training (formal and bedside) of the medical/paramedical multidisciplinary team in order to optimize the newborn and paediatric quality of care - Reviewing and discussing selected complicated cases or mistakes and giving technical input - Keeping patients and their families informed of the illness and the treatment to follow, checking that they have been understood - Ensuring professional autonomy and confidentiality are respected and a good attitude and proper bedside manner towards the patient and their caretakers and the rest of the medical team - Following up the evolution of the hospitalized/IDP patients through daily visits, consultations and examinations, prescribing the necessary treatment following DWBI protocols, deciding whether they can be discharged or transferred to other departments in collaboration with other doctors- and informing their families about the patients evolution - Monitoring the proper functioning of the department, equipment or material and addressing the list of the missing item for newborn and paediatric activities - Providing inputs about the general organization of the different paediatric wards, including the admission, transfer and discharge criteria + referral procedure from Maternity and post-delivery wards Checking and controlling the rational distribution of medicines and equipment under his/her responsibility and taking care of the quality, disinfection and sterilization of the medical material - Assuring general compliance with standing hygiene standards - Participating in the introduction/improvement of the collection and analysis of epidemiological newborn and paediatric data, checking its validity and informing the line manager or project coordinator about any problems or complications of the patients illness and medical errors - Collecting Clinical cases for further trainings and listing a series of comments to improve the current DWBI protocols Managing the team under his/her direct responsibility according to DWBI HR policies and procedures, supervising their performance, organizing and scheduling shifts and rotations, and directly participating in emergencies and on calls if necessary - Designing and providing training to staff as required - Debriefing with coordination, Headquarter (including Paediatric Advisor) and providing a written report on main findings, activities, conclusions and further recommendations

PV Country Head IN POSITION PURPOSE: The Pharmacovigilance Country Head (PVCH) is responsible for Pharmacovigilance (PV) in India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan and SriLanka working towards excellence to ensure the safe and appropriate use and the long- term medical potential of company s products. The PVCH is responsible and accountable for directing, managing and improving all. Pharmacovigilance activities for all Pharma and Consumer Health products, including contrast media products from Radiology according to India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan and Sri Lanka legislation and as devolved from Pharmacovigilance (PV). The PVCH provides medical safety governance to protect the patients, the products and the Bayer group with special focus on the India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan and SriLanka public health needs. The PVCH assures constant monitoring of national PV regulatory requirements and compliance with national and relevant international safety regulations. YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Leads and manages India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan and Sri Lanka PV team. Leads the local Safety Management Team and liaise with the relevant expert functions in the local Safety Risk Management Plan development and intervention implementation activities. Review of local relevant medical literature according with the PV standard operations and procedures. Regular review and analysis of local regulatory context. Education and training within the local organization;documentation of topics addressed during the training and of participants in the training. WHO YOU ARE: Advanced life sciences degree, preferably medical doctor, or equal through experience A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a (global) healthcare organization, esp. Clinical Development and/or Medical Affairs and/or Pharmacovigilance. Strong organizational and process management skills. Strong financial reporting experience and skills and understanding of business systems. Demonstrated project management capability. Preferably in-depth experience in drug development process over different stages, esp. clinical development and clinical operations.
