Job Description

Dear Candidate, We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Medical Coding Trainer to join our team. The trainer will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in medical coding, preparing students for industry certifications, and ensuring they gain practical skills relevant to healthcare billing and documentation. Key Responsibilities: Conduct training sessions in ICD-10 , CPT , and HCPCS coding systems. Prepare training materials, course outlines, assignments, and assessments. Teach medical terminology, anatomy & physiology , and coding guidelines . Guide students for certifications like CPC, CCS, or CCA . Monitor student progress and provide individual support when needed. Stay updated with the latest changes in coding practices and compliance standards. Conduct mock tests and evaluate student readiness for certification exams. Maintain student records and training documentation. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, or related field. Certified Professional Coder (CPC), CCS, or equivalent certification is mandatory . Minimum 1–3 years of experience in medical coding and/or training. Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM , CPT , and HCPCS Level II . Excellent communication and presentation skills.
