Job Description

Designation: Medical Coder/Senior Medical Coder/QA Radiology/IVR

Preferred Skills, Education and Experience:

Any graduation with Radiology/IVR coding experience. CIRCC/CPC/CCS/COC certification is Must.

1-4 years of experience in medical coding, preferably in an Radiology/IVR setting.
Experience in simple as well as complex IVR
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong domain knowledge in RADIOLOGY/IVR.
Have thorough knowledge of medical anatomy, physiology and Medical terminology. Official Coding Guidelines for ICD-10-CM for correct and accurate coding.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Responsible for assigning ICD 10 CM codes to patient charts using ICD-10-CM coding classification system in accordance with coding rules and regulations.
Experience in Excode and ImageNow would be plus
You are to review and understand required clinical information from medical records. • Maintain standard industry productivity rates for IVR coding (7 to 9 charts/hour)
Demonstrate ability to maintain high quality standards of 95% or greater.
Proficient in utilizing technology (Encoder, MS Office) to perform responsibilities. • Follow client specific guidelines wherever applicable & working as per client updates and coding the charts accordingly.

Work location: Bangalore, Salem, Chennai, Hyderabad & Trichy
