Position Title: Billing Executive Location: Medic Pharma Department: Retail Operations Reports To: Store Manager / Finance Head Employment Type: Full-Time Position Summary: The Billing Executive at Medic Pharma plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the billing process in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment. This role involves managing customer transactions, verifying prescriptions, processing invoices, and maintaining proper documentation in line with pharmaceutical regulations and tax compliance standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate precision, discretion, and professionalism, while delivering exceptional customer service and upholding Medic Pharma’s operational integrity. Key Responsibilities: Accurately generate and process invoices for prescription and over-the-counter medicines using authorized billing software. Review and validate prescriptions, ensuring legal compliance for scheduled drugs. Cross-check medicine details including batch number, expiry date, and quantity before billing. Handle multiple payment modes (cash, credit/debit cards, UPI, digital wallets) with high accountability. Ensure correct application of GST and maintain billing transparency in line with regulatory standards. Maintain organized records of daily transactions, invoices, and cash flows. Reconcile billing and payment data at the end of each day; report discrepancies immediately. Liaise with pharmacy and inventory teams to confirm product availability and resolve billing concerns. Ensure a smooth and professional customer experience at the billing counter. Qualifications & Experience: Minimum 10+2 (Commerce or Science stream preferred); Diploma in Pharmacy is an advantage. 1–2 years of experience in billing within a pharmacy or retail healthcare setting. Freshers with basic computer knowledge and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply. Strong familiarity with pharmacy billing tools, POS systems, and tax invoice protocols. Knowledge of drug names, categories, and prescription formats is essential. Basic understanding of regulatory compliance in the pharmaceutical industry. Working Conditions: Work Schedule: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM (Rotational shifts or as assigned) Compensation: ₹15,000 – ₹18,000 per month (commensurate with experience) Job Type: Full-time Work Location: In person
