Media Monitoring Analyst

As an Analyst - Media Monitoring with Annalect India, you will be responsible for utilizing various tools and techniques to identify and compile relevant media articles and broadcast clips for reporting purposes. Your role will involve using RSS reader software, conducting Google News searches, and working with broadcast monitoring software to gather necessary information. Additionally, you will be generating email-based alerts, supporting ongoing development tasks, and assisting with data collection and synthesis efforts for research and communications initiatives. To excel in this role, you should have 3 to 5 years of experience using Google News and familiarity with RSS platforms like Feedly. Experience with broadcast monitoring platforms, particularly Critical Mention, is strongly preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills in US English are essential, along with the ability to work flexibly in US hours. You should be proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, and possess the capability to analyze data effectively to extract key insights. In addition to the primary responsibilities, you may be involved in completing landscape analyses, evaluating social channels, and conducting data pulls from social listening topics. The ability to make independent decisions, receive constructive feedback, and work collaboratively with the team is crucial for success in this role. While not mandatory, experience with Media Monitoring and Social Listening tools like Talkwalker, Brandwatch, Sprinklr, and others would be advantageous.
